About Witchcraft Therapy: Your Guide to Banishing Bullsh*t and Invoking Your Inner Power

Do you remember the first time you thought “yaaaas”? Me either. All I can think of is the present thing that has me throwing clap emojis and heart eyed happy faces. Right now it is this book. It was a common feeling as I read this to want to reach out and high five the author for having such a down to earth voice and for using it to say things that I absolutely relate to.

The first thing you need to know before reading this book is that you are about to be read. This isn’t one of those readings where you feel bad about yourself afterwards. Quite the opposite. Mandi has a knack for getting directly to the point without wasting time or energy in trying to dance around and make the message she is delivering easier to swallow. This is a definite “no fucks given” approach to healing ourselves and our psyche with the help of Witchcraft Therapy.

Starting right out the gate with a dead-on accurate statement that you have to do the mundane work if you are going to get what you want out of your magic. She moves right along to the essential techniques. A few of these being Manifestation/Intention Setting, Journaling, and Grounding. All of this information is provided before chapter one even begins.

Next Mandi dives deep into the meat of this therapeutic work of witchery. The six chapters of the book are separated into checking one’s vibe, finding confidence, dealing with the shit storm life throws at you, magic to help with mental health, dealing with other humans, and finally reassessing and adapting your life to be more enchanted.

Throughout the book one gets the sense that Mandi is just their bestie, hanging out and having a deep and meaningful chat. At no point do the lessons of this book feel as though they are condescending despite the “no nonsense attitude” overlaying the voice of this work. More accurately it is easy to get the feeling that the Author is salty, not toward you of course, but rather the rest of the world that has been lying to you, making you feel like you were anything less than Magical AF.

Pick Up This Book Because

We all have that friend who is quick to defend us whenever opposition has reared its face. Mandi is that friend and the opposition is the rest of the world. Everyone can benefit from Wellness. Whether it is mental or physical, we absolutely require check-ins every now and then. We need to make sure that we are on track to a happy healthy life. This is a book that can help provide that for you.

One read will never be enough with Witchcraft Therapy. The lessons and spells are fantastic in this book. But, what resonated the most for me was the feeling that it was okay not to be in a great place. There is plenty of encouragement to move forward into a better state of mind with practical advice, spells, and rituals to help along the way. Overall however, the acceptance of the reader as a flawed human working on themselves is a cozy space all Witches should find in their lives.

The Magic You Could Learn

So often books in our community focus so much on the magic and not enough on the human aspect of why the magic needs to be applied. For Witchcraft Therapy, this is not the case.

Regardless of where you are in your practice you will find insight, relief, and humility in taking this journey into Wellness Witchery with Mandi Em.
