This week I have decided to pull from The Wild Unknown Tarot deck. This is the deck I use to work with the Goddess Hekate, Queen of the Witches, the crossroads, and beyond. The messages that come through from these cards can sometimes be quite confronting, but they always bring with them the opportunity for powerful insight and radical change.
Take a deep breath, plant both feet on the ground, hold your hands to your heart, and close your eyes, now take three deep breaths…
Open your eyes, take a look at the cards in front of you and choose the one that is calling your name…
Card Number 1: Four of Cups
This week you are being called to take a look at your emotions and what you need to feel stable. Are you feeling secure in your heart space or is there some uncertainty there that is leading you to grasp at how you want things to be instead of how they truly are? When the Four of Cups show up, especially from TWU, it can bring with it feelings of greed and discomfort. Are you looking outwards to the physical to satisfy the emotional? This week is about releasing and not holding on so tight. To root down into gratitude for your current blessings and to question what it is that your heart truly seeks. The answer lies within you.
Card Number 2: Two of Swords
This week you are being asked to take take a step back and to observe your heart as well as your head. You could find yourself feeling stagnant right now and there could be a decision that needs to be made. Some of these choices may be leaving you feeling as though you can’t see the way forward. This week it asks you to question what is it that is stopping your progression? Can you open your heart and allow your intuition to guide your choices and trust in the process? Is their fear around making the wrong choice? Whatever decision you make, this card is here to remind you to trust your own inner voice and the pathway that lies ahead of you. While you are in limbo you are missing out on the power of experiencing. Whatever choice you make, expansion lies on the other side.
Card Number 3: Five of Pentacles
When we see the Five of Pentacles it can be an uneasy feeling. Right now there could be a lot weighing on your heart that is causing you to feel a deep level of sadness. This could be presenting itself in the form of worry, stress, money troubles, work issues, heartbreak, illness, or even many of these simultaneously. When we see the Fives they always point to lessons, change, and wisdom. You could involuntarily be going through a big shift at the moment, and through that process, it can be hard not to become lost in feelings of despair. This week the Five of Pentacles is here to remind you of the cyclic nature of life, the ebb and flow, the death and rebirth. To know that whatever is happening right now will eventually pass. In the meantime, remember to allow yourself to fully experience your emotions and to give yourself space and permission to feel. Don’t be afraid to reach out to the ones you love to help you through this challenging time.
