Tarot Reading with Hex Tarot

I discovered the Prisma vision tarot deck by James R. Eads last year and have been most impressed by how multi-layered the illustrations are. I particularly like the swords, which have an optimistic energy, giving hope that resolutions can be found when we communicate our needs. Communication is the most challenging aspect in all our lives, but it is also the thing which brings us the most joy.

Take a moment to observe the cards. Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Now look at the cards again and choose the one you are most drawn to.

Card Number 1: Two of Swords

There is a storm brewing. This is not new information to you. Now is the time to prepare for what you know is coming. You will receive some information that allows you to see the bigger picture and offers you a surprising resolution to your problems. You will have to make a quick decision about which direction you need to move, there may be some hesitation about taking any risks. Make sure you have all options covered, don’t overreact, think about what outcomes you want from this huge surge of information.

Card Number 2: The Hermit

There is a magick in the air this week. You have gratitude for how far you have come, and faith in where you are going. You will feel a sense of purpose and wonder in your actions as if fate is sending you to a crossroads. One path is a slow and steady path and the other one of great endurance, both will lead you to great rewards if you are willing to complete your journey. In simple terms, you absolutely have to put some effort and take responsibility to finish the job this week, if you want the payoff. Remember how capable you are, you deserve to complete your goals.

Card Number 3: Five of Chalices

It’s no good setting your milk precariously on your books and crying when it’s split. To avoid any upset in the first place, it’s time to get real and practice some mindfulness to avoid calamity. Be responsible, mindful, and measured with your actions this week. Even if things don’t workout and plans are changed last minute,  adopting a fluid and nonjudgemental approach with yourself and daily tasks will offer you some real gems, even if the rest of the world still feels crazy. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Look forward, you got this.
