Blessings and welcome to your weekly Witch With Me tarot reading! I hope it finds you well!
This week I used Tattoo Tarot by Diana McMahon Collis and the commissioned artist, Megamunden. For any tattoo enthusiasts out there, this deck gives all those traditional tattoo sailor vibes. I love how the artist stuck fairly true with the traditional RWS tarot but gave just a dash of rock ‘n roll.
And without further ado…
Card Number One: The Tower (reversed)
You may find yourself taking the blame or responsibility for someone else’s chaos in which case you are urged to step into your power to resolve any drain that this is causing on your energy. Alternatively, perhaps you are holding on to something that hasn’t been built to last. Surrender and know that the collapse of the tower is inevitable and you shouldn’t feel responsible for its eminent collapse. Surrender and trust. Surrender and know that when the tower falls, and you lean into that chaos, you can build an impenetrable fortress with the rubble.
Card Number Two: Five of Swords
You may be facing conflict or disputes within your home or workplace that has the potential to become really stressful for you. Rather than beat a dead horse, walk away graciously and save yourself the energy. With all that energy you have saved by walking away, put it towards creativity and joy. Your soul will thank you.
Card Number Three: Ten of Cups
There may be some wrinkles within your family or your group of friends that needs to be ironed out before happiness and emotional contentment can fully manifest. Particularly now, given the climate of the world on a political/social level, try to remain loving, assertive, and judicial when disagreements arise. Speaking out of anger will only create long term scars on the hearts of each other so it is important to recognize that everyone has their own path that they must walk in this life and sometimes we aren’t all in alignment with each other — we can’t be when we are all here to grow. Practice empathy and trust that this energy is only temporary.
